Before Haiz Calculator: common questions

My period came two days early. Do I stop praying?

Usually yes: if the early days plus your habit add up to 10 or less and at least 15 days of purity have passed, stop praying as soon as you see blood.

What if I prayed during days that later turned out to be haiz?

Those prayers were not owed, and nothing needs to be done. Obligatory fasts kept on those days must be made up.

What if it came only ten days after my last period?

Fewer than 15 days of purity have passed, so it cannot be haiz yet. Keep praying with wudu for each prayer time.

Why does the number 18 appear?

If blood comes 18 or more days early, there is room for a haiz of at least 3 days and the 15 days of purity required before your next habitual period, so this bleeding can be a haiz on its own.
